FRAG was/is a project I started in the early 90's. The name was suggested by Blast First's Paul Smith. I liked it, it sounded meaningless. I recorded some material for a Blast First release at Rich Bitch Studios in Birmingham but the recordings 'perished'; a date supporting Faust at The Marquee Club in London to promote the album was ditched as a result. The camouflage webbing I was planning to play behind survives, and if I ever play live with FRAG it may come out of storage.

I kept recording under the name with the idea of FRAG remaining 'secret', never to be heard. The only surviving recordings from 1994 were released on cassette in 2018 by Cruel Nature Records titled 'Controlled Coma'.

'DISEASE VECTOR', is the first new FRAG material for 25 years released on Hidden Reserve as a Limited Edition of 30 CD-R.

As a long time fan of Head of David and Tunnels ov Ah ,i thought i would check this out,its very good.You can hear echoes of what was to become Tunnels ov Ah,i think i like this just as much,if not more.This feels more aggressive,rough,jagged,and full of implied menace.Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of the aforementioned bands. love this record. Dark & lovely. vinyl (picture discs) is a treasure. the final 3, this, swanyard & the ape of Naples are an incredible postumous coil legacy.
